The Asian Women of Achievement Awards 2009, in association with Lloyds TSB
Wednesday May 20, 2009
The 2009 Asian Women of Achievement awards will be the tenth anniversary of this wonderful celebration of Asian women's contribution to British life.
These awards started as, literally, a home-grown venture; ten years on, they have established a life of their own. Receiving one of these awards is a truly meaningful credential that enables
winners (and indeed shortlisted candidates) to push forward in their lives and careers.
The tenth-anniversary awards take place on Wednesday May 20 at the London Hilton Park Lane and promise to be the most special yet. We are thrilled to announce the involvement of the incomparable
actress, writer and comedienne Meera Syal. And we are delighted that the anniversary awards will be hosted once again by the BBC's elegant Mishal Husain.
We can also confirm that our long-standing patron, Cherie Booth QC, continues to support us.
So I encourage you to become involved - by nominating yourselves or your colleagues, by letting us know about the talented Asian women who are making Britain an even more special place. Or indeed
by putting the date in your diary and booking your place now.
